Roz is originally from Boise, Idaho. She grew up rafting, hiking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors. She has lived in Colorado for the past 6 years aside from stints in Seattle and Alaska. While attending Colorado State University, she took up climbing and hasn’t looked back since. She has climbed in a variety of places including Chile, Alaska, Yosemite, and Idaho. When she graduated with a Civil Engineering degree, she became a ski instructor at Vail Resorts. In the Vail Valley, she picked up ice climbing and later worked leading tours and assisting ice climbing on the Matanuska Glacier in Alaska. She loves exploring new places and learning new things. She strives to be a a life long learner. She also loves teaching others what she knows, especially in an outdoor setting.
